When school's out but work isn't, the Y is the place for fun, safety and good times.

Some upcoming non-school days that take place on work weeks include:

• Friday Nov. 13 and Nov. 24, 25 and 27
• Thursday Dec. 24 and Monday through Thursday, Dec. 28 to 31.

Ease your mind (and your child's boredom) with the Mankato Family YMCA's Non-School Day program. We offer swimming, field trips, gym games, arts activities and more.

Offered to children in grades K-5, hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, and parents can arrive as early as 7:30 a.m. Children must be picked up before 5:30.

Persmission slips are required for admission. (Flyers will be sent to local elementary schools).

Fees: For members, $31 first child, $20 each additonal child per family.

For non-members, $46 first child, $36 each additional child per family.
